Coronavirus (COVID-19) Advice

We hope everybody is well and taking care of themselves during this tumultuous time which has seen unprecedented changes to the way we live our lives. Strict protocols are being implemented by health and government agencies to limit the spread of Coronavirus and this is having an impact on all dental and orthodontic practices nationwide. We have been monitoring the situation very carefully and we want to keep you up to date as to some of the measures we are taking to ensure yours and our staff’s safety:

  1. Our stringent sterilisation and cleaning procedures go beyond the recommended protocol.
  2. Our reception and clinical staff have now increased the frequency of Common Area wipe downs with hospital grade disinfectant regularly throughout the day in the reception and clinical areas.
  3. We ask that all patients upon entering the practice wash their hands. We know washing hands with soap is the best way to keep yourself and others safe.
  4. We ask that you call to reschedule your appointment if any of the following apply:
    1. If you have ANY of these symptoms: fever, dry persistent cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, muscle aches
    2. Travelled to ANY overseas destination within the last 14 days
    3. Had close contact with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having coronavirus

Thank you for your understanding. These are incredibly trying times and we will continue to try and run the practices as usual. However, government recommendations are changing on a daily basis and we will need to change our protocol accordingly to follow those recommendations. We will continue to update all our patients via the Simply Orthodontics website as information comes to hand.

We look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.
