Dr M. Trista Anthony completed her specialist orthodontic training with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry degree in Orthodontics from the University of Melbourne. Prior to this, she received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction, from the University of Otago (New Zealand). She also received a number of awards and scholarships during her dental training, including the Burt Medal in Orthodontics, University of Otago Dux Scholarship, and University of Otago Scholarship in Dentistry. Trista has also published in the Australian Orthodontic Journal.
Trista worked as a general dentist in public hospitals in both New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia, where she gained experience in managing dental emergencies, and treating patients who were medically compromised or had craniofacial anomalies, including cleft lip and palate.
Trista is a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists (ASO) and is certified with the Australasian Orthodontic Board (AOB). She is dedicated to ongoing professional development and education in orthodontics.
Trista maintains work-life harmony by spending time with her family and friends, as well as her golden retriever, Mikah. She enjoys immersing herself in new arts and crafts projects, and has a passion for cooking and fine cuisine.
